Welcome to the Wyoming Angels Network
The Wyoming Angels Network (WYA) will be a select network of successful entrepreneurs and other business leaders in Wyoming who will provide investment capital, strategic advice and mentoring to early-stage technology companies to help them achieve market leadership and operational stability.
WYA has established associations with Wyoming Innovations Network ( formerly Venture West Network Inc., www.venturewest.org, a Wyoming non-profit that encourages entrepreneurship in the state) and with leading angel groups across the western United States including Sierra Angels, Vegas Valley Angels, Sacramento Angels, Bridger Private Capital Network, and CTEK Angels. Through these relationships, WYA will review the best startup and expansion company investment opportunities in the region and have the opportunity to co-invest with some of the most successful private investors in the country.
By sharing their entrepreneurial, management, financial and industry sector expertise, WYA’s members will:
• Attract the best deal flow in the region while maintaining individual anonymity,
• Quickly and effectively screen potential investments,
• Reduce investment risk by supporting thorough and professional due diligence,
• Obtain better investment terms by negotiating term sheets as a group,
• Make all final investment decisions as individuals, not as a group,
• Share in governance and mentoring of investee companies,
• Increase overall investment returns,
• Share the adventure with similarly-minded peers, and
• Advance entrepreneurship and economic development in Wyoming.
The core mission of the Wyoming Angels Network is two-fold:
• To help grow the economic base of the region through the rapid growth of technology companies and
• To provide members an outstanding financial return on their time commitment and invested capital.
